Facilities

Claughton House Stables is situated in the heart of the North Lancashire countryside.  The stables are set in beautiful idyllic surroundings with lovely open views, but yet is easily accessible from the A6 near Garstang.

We are a family run business and our aim is to provide a high standard of horse livery and owner satisfaction.  The facilities include a large floodlit all weather arena with a high quality sand and rubber surface, we also have a lunging pen.

There are only 15 stables altogether which are light and airy and all have automatic water bowls.  There is a secure tack room and a fantastic loft space for extra storage and is great for drying rugs, we also have a purpose built horse shower area, toilets and a tea room with a hot drinks facility.

For the competitive rider we are only 1 mile away from Barton Equestrian Centre and 3 miles from the Myerscough International Arena, or for a change of pace the quiet picturesque country roads make an ideal hack out with the Beacon Fell Country Park trail not far.  In the summer months we set up a cross country course and this facility is free to all our liveries.
